“The Path of the Elements” – the Inner Journey of the Human Being

Artist: Senay Ramada

In the painting “The Path of the Elements”, Shenay Ramada leads us on a profound inner journey, where the human soul passes through the power and trials of the four primordial elements. The artwork does not tell a story in a literal sense; instead, it reveals a process — a movement inward, toward awareness and wholeness.

The three birds in the composition symbolize fire, water, and air — the fundamental forces that drive human nature. Fire represents transformation, passion, and destruction, without which no new beginning is possible. Water carries emotions, memory, and purification — that which flows deep within us and shapes our inner world. Air embodies thought, spirit, and freedom — the invisible yet essential energy of consciousness.

At the center of the painting stands the female figure — the element of earth. She represents stability, the connection to reality, and the essence of being human, uniting all other elements. Her blindfolded eyes do not suggest blindness, but inner vision — the ability to perceive truth beyond form, through feeling and intuition.
